Another 2nd Gen Addition to the Acurazine Community!

I just picked up my brand new 09 Acura TSX in Crystal Black Pearl, AT, Tech Package. Bought it on Monday but it was dark so I didn't have enough time to see any flaws and it was kinda dirty. I posted a thread about two weeks ago asking for your opinions on what car I should get. I wanted manual but I guess when I was test driving on US1 so kinda got frustrated with the stop and go traffic. Since this is going to be my daily beater, decided on the auto plus with all the goodies, heh, might get distracted lol. It's late so I'll post pictures later on.

Congrats! You may want to post this here https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-2009-2014-143/2nd-gen-tsx-owner-sign-678121/
so others can read & learn what everyone else chose as far as colors, options, etc.

Your comment about the clean engine, you will find that the TSX engine compartment seems to keep the engine relatively clean. I find it really easy to keep this engine clean compared to my previous North American cars I used to own....

BTW...I wouldn't need to know her TWO friends, I'd settle for one

kowloonsniperhk,
Congrats on the purchase. Crystal Black Pearl seems to be the most dominant color, most 2nd gen TSX's I've seen here are also that color.

HeavyDuty,

since i live florida its 28% in the front and 15% in the rear, i got 28% front and 20% rear since i didn't want that noticeable in the % tint. i felt naked when i was driving it back from the dealer.

heh the boot is the trunk of the car. basically for a majority of the interior i used the same as manitou1 and ordered most of them from ebay. here is the link to the thread and all you have to do is copy and paste the model number on the thread onto the ebay search engine.

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-2009-2014-143/interior-lights-door-dome-vanity-etc-license-plate-lights-led-conversion-684754/

the other leds are for the four door lights which I ordered from superbrightleds.com I ordered the T13 in blue because it definitely looks nice at night. I had it in my old TSX. here is a link to the complete LED bulb type on the 1G.

As for the spoiler and any other accessories you are looking for, I ordered from philsmithacura.com since they have a little discount if you do it yourself. But they are located in South Florida and is the place where I bought my car so I can pick it up.
http://tsx.hhsn.net/leds/

Most of the bulb type is the exact type as the old car. but I haven't check the type of lights for the tail lights.

For the HIDs I ordered from

http://www.mod-express.com/product_p/mekit.htm

Before you check out in the "Coupon Code" section, type in "scionlife" and it will come out to $140.00 plus shipping!

Also, I don't know if they're a participating vendor, or if I can post this or not, but...you can also try Tim Poliniak Ray Laks Acura @ 888-RAY-LAKS. He's a great guy and has worked hard for this community for a long time. They're up North somewhere (NY, NJ?) but ship anywhere no problemo & the discounts are deeeep with no surprises.
