It's all in the water and milk Stak. Asian kids growing up these days are breaking the stereotypical mold.

^ My parents made me drink two glasses of milk a day growing up so I could grow up big and with the right nutrients since they didn't have things like milk in vietnam. Now I'm one of the tallest asians in my city, standing at 6'1. true story

That makes for the both of us. I am 6' ~190 now and my younger brother is 6'1" and 230. If you throw Defcon into the mix, we can pass for triplets with shaved heads

I don't think so... I was commenting somewhere on how I was contemplating whether or not I should buy the XLR8 brake package, then I received a PM from one of their staff members offering me pretty much the same package but at a cheaper price (just with different brand rotors/pads). I figured I might ask any of you guys if you've heard of them.

A lot of people swear by the stoptechs. Personally, if it were only a $50, I'd go for the stoptechs...you'll sleep better at night. I also wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing my brakes weren't from a reputable brand.

you can always be the first one to test it out for the community...it's not like the brakes won't clamp or anything. I'm just thinking that they may not last as long as the stoptechs or handle repeated use. But, again, we have no frame of reference.

Carlton, for rotors, I would go with DBA if they have it for the CU2. It's a little bit pricier ($300'ish for a pair), but worth every penny. I have DBA4000 series drilled and slotted rotors on my Mazdaspeed 3 with HPS pads. They were AWESOME!

No, you took my post out of context. He's saving a buck or two relative to purchasing a $300 pair of rotors.

It's like a Rolex over a Tag. At the end of the day, they do the same thing, however one is clearly better than the other. And, the Stoptech has proven themselves as a reputable brand.

You have a Mazdaspeed 3 too? No wonder you can afford a $300 pair of rotors. Too bad I need all 4, and $600 doesn't sound too appealing. I just put in my order. STOPTECH FTW
