Oh yeah, the mpg is worse is in AWD cars anyways, that's probably why you got 16-ish. But as long as everything else is fine, it maybe worth the trade off based on fun alone.

looks like carmax tomorrow for the wagon. standing offer 21,800.

went to acura dealer today. told them......Make One Offer. dont play games.

they come out with 18,xxx then going to give me $100 for the clear bra. so he says lets call it $19,000. How does that sound? I pull the carmax offer out and set it on the table. I said if you want my car you need to offer a few hundred more than THIS (21,800). He started mumbling, let me go talk to the manager.......I said "TOO LATE. I told you ONE OFFER, no games. Thanks." And grab my stuff and head out the door.

I am OK with 21,800. Could I get more,,,,,,maybe on a private sale. But that could be a hassle, holidays are coming up. So CARMAX is the winner.

Before I went to Carmax I had to REBADGE......it was a sad day. Also put on the front plate frame......hasnt been on there since the day I got it home.

and which wagon bro was bugging me for the weathertech.......they are now available

oh BTW I bought a 89 Iroc Z convertible
383 stroker, 700R4 w/2800 stall, 3.73 posi rear rear strange axles, wilwood brakes, spohn lowering kit, new paint, new int, new top, T//A mesh wheels, new tires, Autometer gauges oem replacement, Retrosound stereo with BT, Ipod dock in console.

Frame has 80,000
ODO reads 1,500 miles......thats all it has since rebuild.

What gas mileage are you guys averaging?
I have a '12 non-v6, and am averaging about 12-12.5L/100km (based on the info screen), which is ~19MPG.
Does this sound normal? I would say 60-40 city/highway driving.
Bought the car in hopes of saving some gas relative to the TL, but by the looks of it...there isn't much of a difference lol

On a shittier note:

Ran over a rock yesterday that I didn't see, which put a hole in the sidewall of my front passenger tire (and slightly damaged my A-Spec/Delta wheels). They were Pilot Sport AS/3's, and like a month old.

12-12.5 L/100km is high (i.e., low in terms of MPG since it's the inverse). I'm averaging 10.1 L/100km right now, and I fluctuate between that and 10.0. Probably on the same boat as you of 60 city 40 hwy; maybe even a bit more city. There's either a tire pressure problem, too much weight in the car/trunk, or (most likely) driving technique.

To save a bit of gas I drive like a granny at times in the city. When approaching an intersection with green traffic lights, I always check the pedestrian count down to see how much time I have. If I know there's no way I'll make it without gunning it 20km/h above the limit, I won't even bother trying and just start letting off the gas from there even though it's still green. If it's red and I'm maybe 100-150m back of the intersection, I'll let off the gas but not brake. If it goes green, resume acceleration. Doing this will save you a bit of gas compared to doing a full stop and having to start from 0 again. In the event that I do have to brake, I try to brake a bit earlier then just coast a bit and time it so that I never have to leave the line at 0. For highway gridlock I'll always leave a decent enough gap between me and the car in front. You know for sure the car in front will probably start braking in like 3-5 seconds off the line. Try to keep a safe distance so that you don't have to brake much (or at all) when the car in front brakes, so you'd just be coasting off the gas pedal. These little things should help with your fuel economy. Granted, you'd be driving like a jerk if there was a lot of traffic, but in most cases above you're not really going anywhere if you had sped up anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

As for your wheels/tires, that really sucks . Hope the tire is still usable. How bad is the wheel? I love those wheels! I forget, are you from Toronto?

That's what I thought! It's not a big improvement compared to the TL, and I honestly drive like a granny. I'm a full-time student so saving gas is relatively important to me.

My friend has an '11 TSX, and he averages around 12-12.5L/100KMs as well.

The car is literally empty except besides me. Tire pressure is OK.

I'll keep those driving techniques in mind, but I believe I follow those similar guidelines.

Could be there other factors that significant affect fuel efficiency? Compared to y'all, mine is pretty bad

Unfortunately no, tire is unrepairable. I am from Vancouver!

Thanks for the advice!
