You can more or less infer who's thread it is by the person that's in the lead with posts.

on most modern cars, the auto manufacture uses an already great front strut bar.
its more for body flex and not a suspension piece.

our cars understeer from the factory.
the goal is to get the car to act neutral in a turn.

if adding a larger rear sway bar creates OVer steer, you'll want to combat it or make it more even or balanced with a thicker front sway bar.

replacing the front tower strut bar with another of the same thickness (there arent any that are thicker, because its for body flex not to control handling) will only be for aesthetic reasons.
FIYW; my buddies drive without the front tower strut bar brace after adjusting coils; and some crack windshields when going up driveways

tl;dr
- front sway bar and front tower strut bar 2 different things.
- one will give you better handling, the other will prevent body flex.

so theres no reason to grab this besides aesthetics?

Here's the part out:
https://acurazine.com/forums/car-par.../#post15213370

kk's got dibs on BBK, even though he has one already?!

Also some other interesting parts (25mm RSB, which I had no idea existed, 19" Enkeis, SPC rear camber kit). iCrap, get some coilovers already!

I think the 22mm should be fine for a daily. The 25mm might be a tad overkill, but definitely would be fun as hell taking those corners. The car would probably turn in so well that it starts to oversteer lol. The reinforcement bar looks cool too (has PROGRESS in giant letters haha)

I think it's available on xlr8, but it's pricey! Maiku's letting the whole thing go (Progress Endlinks included) for a fair price.

22mm is fine but a bit stiffer would always be nice

i was kind of like wtf when i took my progress bar out of the box and compared it to my dad's Hotchkis on his G. soo tiny in comparison lmao.

lol that must be really tiny.
I looked up the specs on the Hotchkis... 40mm in the front 30mm in the rear... omg 0_o no wonder my progress bar looked so tiny in comparison.
