I've wanted the 11-16 for a long time, but as I kept reading about it, it seemed more and more less practical lol. It's way too wide with not much to work with as far as zoom goes. Only thing I'd probably want it for is the fact that it shoots at f/2.8 F/4 isn't so bad on the 12-24 though

Yeah i love the fact that it's f2.8. You're right though its not very practical, but i usually have that along with my 18-70 or 18-200.

I think it's pretty terrible overall. After you take a picture and zoom in, it's super grainy. The camera is the biggest downfall on this phone. They needed to just throw a regular camera in and not get all fancy with this ultrapixel BS.

Awesome shot!

I have the 10-22mm f/3.5-5.6 for my Canon T1i. Given that it's not a full frame cam, the 10-22mm isn't so bad. I can't afford the 24-70mm f/2.8L though definitely an awesome all around lens to have. Wish I didn't cheap out back then on the body though... I avoid ISO 800+

Have you messed with the settings at all? The One camerd is waaaay better then my iPhone 5 camera, and out of my friends with the GS4 and 5S I always get by far the best photos.

I guess we can agree to disagree. For every nice picture you get, like the ones you showed, I also get the same amount of pictures that lack clarity when slightly zoomed in. Fully zoomed out? Yeah more times than not they look adequate. It's also the reason they're ditching the whole ultrapixel idea and going back to a regular 13MP camera on the M9 (or so I've read).

This looks interesting. Are deionizers made to remove those tiny little water spots that remain on the car after a wash if not dried or hard water spots?

Are you on sense 6.0? Which camera app are you using? The stock one or the Google Camera (from play store)?

The pads I got from www.autodetailingsolutions.net. A six pack of the Hydro Techs ran me $50, and they have a 15% off coupon as well (these pads are usually $10+ each, +shipping!, so this was attractive). What's great is the six pack is configurable... meaning you can choose whichever pads you want. You could get 6 of the same ones if you really wanted to, or any combination of the 3 different Hydro Techs. I read that they're really great so I wanted to give them a try over CCS pads.
So I lost that action like 2 days ago for the GG. I was outbid by $2.50 last second. Literally no one had placed a bid until the last 10 seconds of the auction.

What do you think about this one, are the pads any good? I would send a best offer if it's worth pursing.

Sucks to hear you lost. BTW, not sure if you know but eBay has a maximum/automatic bid feature (not sure when this was implemented... I mostly Buy It Now). So even if you bid a very tiny increment, someone who placed a "maximum bid" that is higher than the bid you just placed will automatically/immediately bid 1 increment above you. It's a feature that attempts to avoid sniping of auctions. Check the bid history (I'm too lazy to ), you can see if the person has placed automatic bids (an indicator that they had a higher maximum bid than you). I lost on some cheap weather tech floor liners because the guy had a higher max bid and I tried to snipe the auction

About the Ubers, generally speaking people seem to like 'em. Some guy said he prefers the LC Hydro Techs, but hey, noobs like us won't know any better.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...uber-pads.html

I haven't looked into the pricing of these pads though, so you may wanna do a little bit a research on that front. Figure that out then go for the offer

I actually did do that. I had left it at $110 seeing that no one was really active on it since it had been listed, that was my first mistake. I was on my phone and with the last 2-5 seconds someone just outbid me and I had no time to even up my offer. I was a little hesitant at first to even go any higher, because I was reading about the warranty (again, very last minute) and some people mentioned you had to have purchased it from an authorized dealer and of course an eBay seller (unless a company) is not considered one, since it's an auction site. But after the auction had ended a lot of people had commented that they didn't even have an order # and GG really didn't care, so that made me more relieved. I'm sure another one will pop up, still kind of bummed since it only went for 112.50 shipped, great deal.

And yeah I've looked a bit about those pads. They only run for $35 (5, 5.5 inch w/o shipping) I think on one site, so they're asking about 10 bucks more for the package. But they've also accepted a ton of offers in the past which is why I think if I offer something fair enough I can win regardless. So far I've seen that Uber is still a decent brand, it's not like some crap thrown-in for buying the polisher which is all I needed to know. Exactly like you said, for a bunch of noobs we won't even know the difference haha.

+1, SAVCLAUDE before he went beast mode. Well... he was pretty much on beast mode the entire time.

Ugh... I remember I left my iPhone 4 on my lap while driving a few years ago. I forgot about it and stepped out of the car and the phone hit the ground. POS "Gorilla Glass" shattered into a trillion pieces. Hope you like the S5.

How much of a difference is there between the S4 and S5?

And thanks, I'll check it out.

So it's not worth $300? lol

It's probably more so for people that have hard water with tons of minerals that don't get off the car.

HTC customer service is THE worst. First, half of their employees don't know the right information, to the point where I don't know who's right. So I'm trying to get a replacement and first they tell me I'm out of the one year warranty. I bought the phone on 8/31/13, so I still have a few months till August. They want me to email their Return Merchandise Department pictures of my receipt, which I told them I still had. This was yesterday, I asked the person when I could expect them to receive the email, she said 24 hours, but if I really want to, try in 3 hours. And prior to this someone told me they are open 7 days a week, 8AM-8PM. Now today I try to see if they have my email, a whole 24 hours later and the guy is telling me they were closed yesterday and they need 2 days to receive the email? WTF, that's 3 people with all different information. And my repair that was done a month ago supposedly was done one YEAR ago? Seriously, it's the biggest headache ever. All this hassle for someone who's still under manufacture warranty, sketchy ass company.
