I think the new ILX has actually spurred on an increase in TSX ownership. I see a LOT more around my area now, where I used to be 1 of 3. Heck, even saw an entire family in a TSX Wagon.

So I'm seriously considering the Subaru BRZ now. Anyone else do any research on it? Anyone else think it is a great idea? I mean, the damn thing weighs 2800 pounds. Has roughly the same power. With a few mods and a tune I think it can be really quite impressive. Also, Subaru's design engineer is saying they are already working on a 250hp N/A model for the "enthusiasts". Any thoughts? I'm gonna try to find one tomorrow to look at. If it is a fun as they say it is to drive, I think I'll have to put the 370z nismo on the back burner. Or hell, might even scrub it altogether. Seriously though. The BRZ looks sick!
Any thoughts from the CU2 crew?

brz gets my vote. i'd wait for a STI version or something. although the car is light, it's just not enough torque and power :/

Actually, the auto on the BRZ is very good. Even auto journalists and enthusiasts were surprised. But, using the paddle shifters is the best way to go. You get more MPG from the auto too.

Well, of course manual is the preferred option, but if you had to get auto, it ain't bad either. Unlike Hyundai, Subaru actually do a good job with their auto.

The only thing I really hate about the fit and finish of the BRZ is the interior dash. That middle panel that is colored in silver. I mean, WTF? It looks like it was taken out of a Jeep or something. Who the hell finishes the interior of a car like that with that garbage? It would be the first thing I rip out and leave out. I'd rather see the bones of the car than stare at that. But I digress...

My whole thing with going with a new "sports" car is getting something RWD and stick. 4 or 6 cal doesn't matter. I know I love driving the Mini Cooper because of the "fun factor". And they say this thing is even funner to drive. I don't need a shit-ton of power. Would I mind it? Hell no!

Besides, my TSX is becoming worse for wear. I friggin hit s piece of someones exhaust the other morning. It fell off and I didn't have room to swerve. Cracked the front bumper and ripped apart the wheel well lining. Had to cut out the shit that was hanging after and epoxy the panels together. After that I was like, yeah, it is certainly time. Sadly. But I want a stick!!!

just gonna put this out there:

Hi George,

Thanks for contact me on this. I would be interested in test fitting parts, and can do so at cost. Sorry can't do it for free... not a big enough company to do that kind of thing. And I can do so with the intention to be sure the parts work so you are not stuck with anything.

Do you have one of these? Are you interested in the coilovers or standard springs or both? Where do you live?

I'd have to go with either the BRZ or FR-S same shit different day. Toyota/Subaru set out to make a "drivers" car and thats what they made. It's all about the drive. + They know 70% of their buyers will probably mod their car newayz. 200 hp in a lightweight car is a great combo in regards to driving dynamics. Keiichi Tsuchiya in his AE86 with barely over 200hp smooookes some cars with double the HP(clearly I watch too much Hot Version and Best Motoring). So power would be good but it also comes down to the driver.

I see alotta FR-S in the area now cuz of the scion Dealership and yes given the chance I think I would trade the TSX in.......#GASP

Hey speed and power!! I like your house and balcony! For some reason I think it would look good with a partial copper roof over the entrance to your house.Over time it will fade to green and make your house look exquisite!!

^i'm surprised at how good it looks in the pic. I actually am not a fan of the rear, but with the aero kit (or whatever you wanna call it), it should clean up the lines nicely. Thanks for the comments on this house, it def needs a little maintenance, 5+ years of brutal northeast weather will do that...unfortunately. P.s. it's not mine, it my parents (but that's neither here, nor there, lol).

your horse might go missing, that's pretty scarey -- damn things cost so much.

Seriously though, CT is home to some of the more famous haunted sites along with the most famous mental institution.
