Yes. Very steep. I honestly don't understand why either. Hyundai got the 2.0L model to push 274hp now and they start at 24k. i think 27k, where the BRZ starts at, is a loaded out track model with Brembo brakes. shows that subaru is simply trying to profit off an engine design. They can recoup their money through years of sales. Not by gouging the enthusiasts.
^the genesis coupe is running very tight margins, it's a car being used to get their name out their and for the tuner world to respect them. Contrastingly, established brands like Subaru are already regarded for performance, therefore they don't need to worry about price of entry for their models. And, if you've read reviews on either car, a lot of people don't like the driving dynamics of the Genesis. Plus, for 274hp, it isn't that quick.

Very good points by all. I don't know. Maybe it isn't that bad of an asking price. After all I did pay 28k for mine, no fees or interest included. And that is a base a/t and fwd. I don't know. I think I just need to drive one before I speculate myself out of a great car.
Saw my first FRS on the road going down university, gotta say it looked pretty legit... in other news I raced my friends 2013(V6) mustang for shits and giggles. I beat him off the line cause I had manual and was ahead for the first like 20 yards but I soon as I shifted into 2nd I swear he pulled a half a car length ahead. It took about another 2 seconds for him to get a full length ahead and from there is was toast lol. It was fun though lol

Did some range time with my family for my bday at Angeles.
Zeroed in the scope for the M200 and was hitting steel targets out to 100 yards.
Range officers and the rest of the onlookers loved them. Also had 2 little kids that wanted to shoot the M200 Cheytac and the uncle said it made their day.
