Any input on a good wheel cleaner product? I've been thinking about trying some of the chemical guys stuff, but it really doesn't matter, anything with good results.

Lol, I have so much music that I haven't gotten around to listening. I liked Loso's Way a lot though.

One of my favorite newer mixtapes would be I Am King by Trae tha Truth. Features galore and good beats.

Ha. I mean I can use car wash soap also, I know there are people that won't recommend any products as it can ruin the rims finish overtime. But there has to be something that isn't super acidic that can help break down brake dust from hard to reach places.

it's really hard trying to find a tire that fits all or most of your requirements.
I'm trying to find an all season for my Kia Sportage...i hate the stock tires, which are Hankook Optimo.
I dont need "performance all season" to say, but I would like more traction for stopping than these Optimos.
I agree. The MXM4s are terrible. Also if you see ever see snow, the MXM4s are probably one of the worst all season tires in snow (and yes I know, all seasons don't mean they're good in snow; but they're worse than any all seasons I've ever had). My car has ~2500 kms (a bit over 1500 miles) so the stocks are brand new. I couldn't pass a tram in snow because of too much slippage

I got a free sample of some stuff from detailed image, forgot what its called but it comes in a silver bottle and the color changes to purple after it does its thing. Pretty awesome stuff, got rid of these black spots on my old rims that didn't come off with car soap and a lot of scrubbing.

Edit: its called sonax full effect wheel cleaner

When you said changes purple I know I saw a YouTube video of a product that did that. I had forgot the name also so I'm kind of glad you found it lol. That is one I definitely wanted to try.

Or it could have been Iron X, they both bleed purple.

I only needed to use it once to get rid of the black spots, then I applied some wheel wax to the wheels. Now car soap does the trick.

I hand wash my wheels, literally. Brake dust ruins all of my rags and a brush cant get to the hard spots. So Ill sit indian style with a carona next to me and stick my hand in the soapy bucket and wash the inside surface and mags with my hands, and then spray it with water. Takes a while though.

On another note, I'm pretty pissed off. Both at myself, and at the BOFA ATM's - but more at myself for not learning my lesson. On 3/31/14 I deposited $140 cash into a BOFA envelope-less ATM - Normally it takes about 10 seconds to verify the cash, but on this occasion it shows a message that says "Processing Cash" and hangs for about a minute. Then a message says "We were unable to accept some of your cash" and, after making a BONG noise for like another minute, the door finally opens and it returns $100 back to me. I take the $100 back, press continue, and the machine hangs again for another long while and comes back with the message "Would you like another transaction?" and I never see the other $40.

Today, the same shitttt happened again, but on a different ATM. This time I went to deposit $40 - got the same message and only got $20 back.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

does the receipt show only depositing 100?
i would head to the bank with your concerns. 60 bucks is a lot!

i was on a trip with some acurazine buddies and i had forgotten to withdraw money from my bank...
quickly, i went into a store to use the atm. I knew I was gonna get dinged the 2 bucks...
my bank only issues cash in multiples of 20.
for some reason, this stupid store ATM had an option for $150.
I chose it, well knowing my bank only issues cash in 20s.
i did this twice.
I lost $24 bucks.

Didn't even get a receipt! Because it jammed and returned my money, but kept some of it. I did not try to deposit the $100 that I got back, I took it and ran!!!

From my understanding, the tellers can't do anything about it, so going to a BOFA branch is useless. I have to file a claim over the phone, with their Indian representatives. FUN

You could use something like this to get into the barrel. Your rims don't have many spokes either, so it would be quicker.

To be fair it's almost more for my dad's RDX than my TSX. After 2 weeks of not washing, my TSX didn't have much break dust. His rims get real dirty.

Only thing I'm curious about is that it's made for motorcycles and I haven't seen anyone really attest to using in on a car.

^honest to god, wheel cleaners are just super concentrated cleaning products.
they also arent a "use every day" product.
like one member said, sprayed on just to get the brake dust that got embedded into the wheel's paint.

so, if you dont take care of your wheels often, a full detail with one of those super concentrated wheel cleaners will take care of it!
then wax the barrels!
then wash every week!
wheels will be awesome for a very long time!!

Lol, I have to wash everyone's car in my family (4), so every week is too much. I wouldn't be using the product every time I wash the car, only when it's really dirty.

LOL. I came across it in high school. The words tub and girl together will never be the same again.

Also, I think my wheels had some kind of wax on them, they were pretty water resistant, IDK if that helped them? But yeah I generally don't brake hard anyways.

Go look at car detailing forums, it is a very well kept secret. Trust me, it is excellent.

P.S. wheels on motorcycles are pretty much the same as wheels on cars. One just has more.
