Really?! Is it just bcuz of v6 and the slant tip dual exhausts?? I like the lines on our tsx more. I had the chance to pick up a tl type s cheaper than my tsx at the time I bought but still went for tsx for the fact I liked the look better and it came in 4cyl. I drive more than 2500 miles a month so gas would be a bitch of a bill.. I had a cl type s 6spd back in 2007 and I couldn't stand it.. Our k series supercharged prob gets better gas mileage lol

Mostly the wider ass of the TL Type S vs the TSX and the stockie wheels of the Type S.

^^ yeah I saw dude chopped up the CD player in the other thread to fit the stock screen.. I have the stupid els system.. Trust when I say I'd rather have the base package so I could upgrade my system and speakers easier. The tech package sucks for modding

Haven't bought it yet, I'm very close too so that was why i was asking about the OEM screen relocation.
Did you have to cut and extend the wires?

Yeah. extending the wires wasn't a big deal. I think there were 16 of them and I just added about 2' onto each wire. A little tedious but not hard.

Anybody ever try this place out?? I'm going single out 3" exhaust but want mandrel bends.. Figured a lot of these bends for the older accords/tsx should be similar or minimal difference to our cu2 that my muffler shop could adjust if needed

^some one bought from them on the 3G TL side
they got exactly what they ordered, mandrel bent piping in the shape of the TL's exhaust.
which satisfied every one in the thread

Are there any slightly wider tire sizes that fit safely on the stock 18" rim?

^you can safely fit a 245 and a 255 wide tire on an 8 inch wide rim.

will have no benefit going wider than 255

Why does tire rack list the TSX with two OEM tire tizes?
225/50-17
225/45-18

Also anyone know how wide our stock 17" is? I have 17's off a G35 (17 x 7.5 in. wheels).. Maybe if they are wider i could use them.

tires are one thing that I would always get at the right specs.
the G's tires might be the wrong profile height throwing off your speedometer and maybe looking a little too short or too tall. depending on profile height

Oh no I meant i have some wheels off a G. If they are wider than stock they might be a bit better?

I have to get tires regardless, the G wheels don't have tires on them.
