2G TSX Chat, Chit, and General Info Thread
They also added the Ferrari LaFerrari.
i almost destroyed my car in a massive pothole today luckily i avoided it last minute. is it me or are the roads especially bad this year due to the heinous winter we are having ?
[QUOTE=TSXy Luster;14905845]Well, that's silly. Have you not seen the hypercars that followed in it's footsteps?....... P1, 918 Spyder, and LaFerrari? All are hybrids that so far are impressive.
i totally agree, those cars and the hybrid tech in them is bad ass. if it was my money i would rather the car didn't have the hybrid wizardry, just preference.

I live in Toronto as well... the roads/weather have been terrible this winter. A pothole actually screwed up the front passenger side ball joint of my old 2G TL. I've become a much more pothole-aware driver... knock on wood this doesn't happen to the TSX.
moving to austrailia I've decided and I'm bringing the tsx with me.
a good 4 wheel alignment is 80-100.
the springs cost 200-300.
labor to remove and replace the struts; book probably says 1 hour each; $100 per hour. thats 400.
then another hour to remove/replace springs from strut for all four- $100.
thats $900.
it took me a good 4-5 hours to do my coilovers by myself with floor jack and stands.........plus i had never done this before.
if it was springs, then i would have had to either rent a spring compressor or took them somewhere for spring removal. plus that time.

Yes, all those prices are just for the installation, they do not include the price of the springs. i found the Tien S Tech springs for $150 on Amazon.
Hard part is installation or finding someone to install them.

My coils took 9 hours to install/adjust height by myself. Never done anything like that before. It was a long day.
You live in Houston where the AZ crew is awesome. I'm sure someone can help you.

my brother got angry at me for eating all the turkey meat.(which I didnt, I only had 3 slices)
shouting became threats. threats became shoving. shoving became grappling/holds.
At this point, I had the upper hand.
His dog knew this and gave a few warning nips at my ankle and butt.
I tightened my grip as his dog kept at it.

end result.

Then again, you do get some leeway with your age...
we meet up all the time, all over the city.
we even travel to other cities. lol
LA people remain the worst, then.
Create a list for a future meet. List encompasses 3 hours between the furthest two people out of about 50 people.
What do the two main "organizers" do? Create meets 5 minutes from their own houses
........ and then complain every time that less than 5 people only show up
OH you can actually get behind there with your hand? I thought it would be covered or something from the back. OK, i'll give it a try. Did you put LEDs in yours? if so, how did you run the wiring up into the brake lights?
There is a cavity behind each brake light in the trunk. Remove the hard plastic cover and you will see the wires coming from the bulbs.
To get my wires to that area from outside the car I removed a brake light, and passed the wires through the large hole into the trunk cavity that the lights use . Then I just bolted the tail light back on.
