My tsx loves the rain. Conti DW are fantastic in the rain, also never had any problems with my oem tires.

I have hydroplaned twice on corners in the tsx where in the ody at the same speed and same conditions it was fine.

I plan to get the conti or Pilot Sports next.

I assume Conti DWS since you are in a cold area.

On a side note, I kind of hate my Conti DW. They tramline like a bitch and the car is overall harder to drive than with oem tires.

Yeah i was looking at the DWS. But if you say it tramlines then maybe not.
I'll probably get the Pilots though.

Also considering seperate winter and summer tires but not sure i want to go that route...

My truck tramlines, but it only started doing it after I lowered it. Pirelli Scorpion tires.

Not in reverse, and not in really light braking, or really hard breaking, only in normal braking conditions, which is almost always lol

I bed them when I first installed my pads and rotors. I should do that whole 5 quick stops, then two minutes of driving then 5 more stops? (i dont remember if that's exactly correct) Seems like a lot of wear.

Thank you! ^ My tsx does great in the rain since we replaced our tires recently. also I use RainX and it works like a charm so it wasn't a problem seeing outside. and yes I was doing around 80.

I forgot to look at the last page and said thank you to justin's post of saying iCrap's tires suck

yup, your car's handling and traction are only as good as the contacts to the ground. better rubber = better ability. my OEM tires are worse in the rain than in the snow, which i find funny =)

My car was on OEM tyres during my near death experience. I highly recommend them since I did not die and had the time of my life.

A better question is how is the tread? I drive my car pretty hard so at this point the front tires have worn down much more than the back tires.

Hard to tell from the picture. If you mean the rubber that goes around the plastic just massage it back to normal or use a butter knife/car key and slide it in between.

You're not kidding. It rains just a little here in Austin and suddenly my tires become afraid of the road or something.

Hey I've never had a loaner car before. Usually I just chill with the salesmen when I'm there.

Wait.. So I am right. It is a loaner from JEA right? So I can get a MDX loaner for my next oil change even though I'm under 21?
