Lol I knew it wouldn't get love here....2G forum is still more on the conservative side of things....I've always been a sucker for Audi Wagons and my dream "everyday" car is an RS6 Avant but this looks good too with the Allroad fender flares.

I hope that whole biker gang gets locked up and ass raped for life. I respect bikers on the road, but when they intentionally act as asshats and screw with people... No shit the guy was scared for his life. That many bikers surround my car doing brake checks and being douches, I'd plow through all of them to save a wife and child too!

 

2 of those guys were arrested and rightfully so including the brakechecking douche who instigated it all. i believe also the guy who smashed in his window with his helmet.

the guy also ended up stopping because the bikers slashed his tires immediately on their first encounter.

one of the bikers who got run over is paralyzed and in a coma and there is a campaign to save him. basically how this guy was an innocent trying to help the instigating biker and got run over and was a poor victim.

in my opinion, fuck that, that guy was rolling with a gang. they were doing ridiculous stunts and breaking laws all day. if he didnt want to be associated with that he shouldnt have been at the scene of the crime when it all went down.

this "hollywood stuntz" group apparently shut down times square last year and attempted to do so this year and is notorious

 

Yeah, if I had time and money, I'd start a campaign to gather range rovers around the NY area and have a party meet at the hospital the guy in the coma is at. Just rev engines and do burnouts all day in honor of the guy they beat up.

Funny how the biker's video cuts out right before they really started to beat the shit out of the driver. Some eye witness reports also claim that one of the bikers tried to take the baby out from the backseat....... that guy should be the one in the coma.

 

So, one of the bikers who instagramed a pic of the beaten up driver has now suddenly removed all pics and his twitter rage against police. Too bad for him, everyone already cached all that and he just gave the police more evidence against them. More than 200 calls to 911 about these bikers causing problems before this incident on that day. No way in hell they can spin themselves as victims here.

 

Those bikers are so retarded. Why would they even post that video online which PROVES they were responsible?..

I think i read though that some of them have been arrested.

 

they thought the video was going to garner them sympathy but its the most cut and dry evidence of bullshit they could have possibly provided.

one of them also posted an istagram photo of them as they were beating and slashing the driver.

mother of the biker in the coma calls for "justice to be served" against SUV driver.

fuck that, poor guy ran for his life with 100+ thugs chasing him. police seized over 55 bikes that day at various checkpoints also.

As a note to car guys also, were privy to do the same thing in big groups, just be mindful of the people you are with when you are out at meets and dont be apart of the hive mind mentality. if people are doing things you are not comfortable with then just leave or report it.

Time for a new battery for my TSX (It left me stranded today ). what do you guys suggest?

 

Sucks dude. Been there. I got a Costco battery and never looked back.

 

the acura replacement batteries are not too bad im on over a year with mine and its not bad.

 

looks decent job on this car , but it could be done easy with some skills.

hardest part is the shelf , i couldn't tell if they removed it or not?

how long did original last?

 

My acura battery was dying with 5 minutes of music playback (I had gotten it replaced two weeks before this) and then I waited another two weeks and the problem magically went away. Now I can trust it with an hour of music playback and no problems (which is weird...).

 

If its the OEM battery. Acura will replace it free of charge.

 

About 4yrs.

should i "upgrade" to a different battery or get another acura OEM? the OEM seems super pathetically tiny.

 

^^ Costco Crap'ster! They have a decent high amperage battery and their warranty/exchange policy is pretty damn good.

Benben it really is a drivers car a lot of people talk trash about it but for stock as it is and 20 year old suspension it handles like a dream now imagine when i do some suspension work. plus if your not in florida like me there really cheap.

 

I am very familiar with Miatas odus. Worked on and drove my fair shares for auto-x. Then again, them Lotus Elises are pretty money too...

 

Apparently my OEM battery has a 100 month warranty! except i took the battery over there and they will only swap it out if i bring the car along too. so i have to leave it for the afternoon. oh well. free is free.

 

Nevermind. The idiots called me and told my car car not starting randomly is normal operation and that i can come pick it up now. seriously WTF?

 

wth...? Did they at least give you a new battery?

 

Nope. the fucking idiot told me that it's normal for it to keep dying. They ran some sort of "test" on it which it apparently passed. This battery failed to start the car for me THREE TIMES, which he says is just fine.
