Thinking of reupholstering my headliner to something darker, like what the SE has. Anyone have experience with this or have any suggestions to what material I should use? Suede? Tiger fur? Alligator?

if you swap with the SE it will be FAR less expensive than custom.

The problem with that is finding an SE to trade. It's not going to be fun shipping those things and I hardly know any tsx in dfw muchless an SE.

A quick eBay search shows normal roof liner in a big roll goes for around 50-100 which isn't bad. I emailed oemacuraparts asking if I could get a roll of the SE liner we'll see what they say.

check for damaged/wrecked SE's.
they'll have the whole head liner to swap for like less than 500 bux.

going custom would cost well into $2k.

you could also Dye the (i'm assuming its tan) headliner

Does anybody else's car rattle like shit when you play music with heavy bass?
I hear rattles from my sunglasses holder, and a shit ton of rattles from my rear deck. Also rattle from my driver side handle on the ceiling.

hunt them down and silence them!
usually with felt.
or you could try like expanding foam.
something that will stop either metal on metal or plastic on metal contact, etc.

Right. Another reason why finding the SE parts and swapping them would be difficult.

What am I missing here? Can't I just buy some headliner fabric, rip mine off, and then reapply the new fabric? I know it will take some time but the material itself doesn't look that expensive.

Problem is i can't figure out how to take apart the rear deck...
The other rattles shouldn't be to hard to fix though.

yeah, if you want droopy headliner.
I believe they apply some sort of adhesive to the headliner.

Welcome to the club my friend. My sunglasses holder doesn't even close anymore thanks to my subwoofer destroying it. My rear view mirror is loose. Rear deck rattles like a bitch.

Thank you JL Audio.

You guys need to start listening to your own kind of music and not other people's with heavy bass. That's your problem there.

I need to watch some videos on installing it. I have a basic idea but not the small details. Is suede considered tacky these days on cars like ours?

I know I need to use adhesive and stuff. I'm not going to half ass it. I guess what I'm asking is it as easy as I think it is? I'm willing to take my time and put as many hours as needed into it. I don't want to paint because I've read that the smell sometimes stays forever.

Went to get wings. Came back to find another CBP TSX next to my sexy machine. (but this guy had a 6 speed )
I've noticed that my car seems to attract other TSX owners in parking lots.

iCrap - your car just sounds f-ed. Rattles, uneven mufflers, what's next?

And MC- your license plate frame should say "Stock as F*ck" (just like mine is)

i wish i was still in high school... those were some of the best times of my life so far lmfao

from football and wrestling freshman year, everyone knew me cause i was loud and acted like a senior like a douche. to growing up too fast and starting drinking and going out to clubs in nyc at 15(yes they were 21+ lmfao) then by senior year finishing up all the fun shit, still in AP classes and shit yet never went to class.

soak it up kids, as we grow up, everyone tells us "don't grow up too fast" and we all say they're idiots, i wanna be older and do shit. then we're older and we're like fuck they were right and we try to tell those younger than us the same thing, and here we are being the idiots who don't know anything ;P
