I really hope the TLX isnt a disappointment! Although, once I go turbo... there's no way I can part with the TSX.

I have been having this battle with my co-workers for the longest time, SC or turbo?? I really didnt wanna build my own turbo, and poke around in the dark with the only car I own,but now that Utah is gunna offer a custom turbo for us, I guess it only makes sense.
I have 9 months left of school, and then 1st paycheck is turbo lol. I have been lucky enough that my parents were able to pay for my tuition these past few years, so that most of the money I make at my job I get to put away. I have budgeted correctly to afford anything within 5-7k range for all the parts necessary for Forced Induction. Im really excited. I figured Optimus, and Utah would have all the fine details down by the time Im ready to buy

Surprisingly, the most expensive mod for the S4 is the exhaust system at ~ $2000. Compared to other mods like wheels, suspension, pulley and tune, which are all reasonably priced.

For those people saying they would get out of their car and beat up a dumb ass road rager, I bet you wish it would go like this:

Goodbye.
Hahahahaha it is the end of the world when the temp goes above 77 and below 74. You don't even want to be around when light fog or minor rain drops start happening - prepare to go Mad Max. Hope the fam had a great time there!

Thanks Mr. NC. The new whip is a blast to drive. It's really solid and feels like a tank. Gonna break it in slowly and as I plan out my mods. I know it's not a RS model but have to make do with what we have here in the state side.

I have a question... for those of you who have the Aero rear, did you install it yourself or had a shop do it? My shop quoted me $150 to install the rear and the skirts. Is that too much? (I already payed 250 to have them painted...)

I would say install the bumper yourself and let them do the side skirts for half the price. I think they are a little more involved

Just eat the cost of install and call it day. Worst case scenario you skip a couple nights of going out boozing to recoup the $150. BTW, detailing is exhausting. Been clay baring and waxing the S4 for the last 2 hours in the garage. Only 1/2 the car is done.

Rear bumper is easy cake to install. Will take around 30 minutes even for your first install if you've watched a video on it. Don't know about side skirts but it's fun to be adventurous. Don't be lame and have a shop do everything for you.

Can someone finish my custom lip? Florida is too hot outside to not have a garage to work in.

I did my Aero rear myself. There's a gentleman who shows you exactly how to do it on YouTube. Having a buddy will definitely help.
I have no experience with the side skirts so I can't really comment. I'm sure the instructions that come with them would be self explanatory. How much would it cost for them to install just the skirts?
