Hey guys, I ran out of warranty 5000 kms ago, and yesterday while driving my driver shield windshield trim flew off and is never to be seen again =(. I looked up the part and its $160. Do you think acura would warranty the part under tsb?

It's Texas and he's the guy that doesn't care the NSA labels him as the #2 pedophile at Simon's high school. Makes perfect sense to me.

give a call or go into the one you normally go to, explain what happened, show that there is a TSB for it, and most likely they'll take care of it. if not i'd escalate to a manager and district rep or whatever. its irresponsible of them to not have issued a full recall as a piece flying off at speed could hit another motorist and even kill someone.

we had a guy just last week on I95 that swerved to avoid a blown truck tire in the roadway, overcorrected too far, and rolled his SUV. despite wearing a seatbelt he likely didn't make it

I went in, and told him what happened, he checked my VIN and there was no recall for it, and asked my kilometers and I have 85000, 5000 over warranty and he said too bad no warranty nothing will even be covered and didnt bother looking at my TSB. He said its $70 to get fixed. I am probably going to try another acura or call the manager of this acura

Driving the 4cyl on high mountain roads is a blast! Even more so when you start to play the game of "how fast can I take turns above the speed limit without falling off the mountain, but still have maximum fun and rush, especially in 2 way traffic?"

Tried to do some Initial D moves, but then realized I almost killed myself and there was no gutter to drop my wheel in.

Print the TSB, turn the video recorder or voice recorder on your phone on, go in and talk, and record everything. if they are douchey like that, just take the recording up the chain. take a look at your state wiretapping laws though. some states are very lenient, others are strict. you don't wanna break the law for shits and giggles. in NJ only 1 party of a conversation has to know the convo is being recorded. moreover, if it can be reasonably assumed that the conversation could be overheard, it is no longer deemed private

Yup.. It can happen to anyone of us. I remember my crash in the RX8 which was similar except I had a guard rail to protect me and bounce off of...

Yeah those narrow 2 way roads with no guard rails are terrifying, no matter how brave you think you are. Sometimes I don't even care to look how far down the valley goes.

Oooo~ Nice, but sadly, the second gen is my least favorite gen Ody LOL
I was totally considering getting an 08 Ody though before I decided on the TSX
My Ody has been with the family since it was bought new off the lot Then it kinda just sat in the garage for over a year or so, so I decided to bring her back to life in 2011.
