I received a post card in the mail from Acura of Boston offering to buy my car. They said the TSX is in it's prime value and there is high demand for used ones, also they'd offer me good money + a great deal on financing a new car. Should I check this out?

Over 300,000 homes lost power in MA already. And the worst is yet to come supposedly.
My company has contracted with NSTAR to provide them with security coverage while they work on downed power lines to ensure people's safety in areas as needed.
Looks like I might be working 24 hours today.

No power or anything but I'm ok, I live in a building so worst possible thing really is shattered windows. I keep seeing the huge flash of real light outside my windows, I can see pretty far around town and transformers are blowing everywhere. Pulled my sis and her roommate out of the west village yesterday evening. Heard FDR is gone, alphabet city is a river. Bridges and tunnels closed along with everyone below 39th without power. VIA Bloomberg, 911 is receiving 10,000 calls per half hour and is requesting the line be used only for life threatening emergencies. Lemme know if you need anything Stak

I got home from work today and noticed the guy who lives across from me had my bumper in the back of his truck. He's in his 60's and seems pretty weird the times I've seen him outside. The only thing he's ever said to me is "How ya doin'?" the 8 or so times we've passed by each other.

NYU medical Hospital lost power, backup generators have failed. Emergency personnel are attempting to evac the NICU. Manually breathing for the babies as they run down the stairs in the dark.... Fucking heroes.

yea took my car out. had to drive through some big puddles...scared of hydrolocking but car made it through alive. might leave it on my cousins block tomorrow just in case the streets are still fucked. water was creeping up the street when i left my house. don't even wanna go home tomorrow. the damage is gonna be super depressing to look at

Put the car in a SAFE place and don't drive it until the streets are completely high and dry. I probably saw 50 hydrolocked cars during Isaac on my street alone

All joking aside, I have the 50mm one offa Amazon for around $125. The grey market ones (asia ones) are only $15 less, and i think the warranty and build quality assurance is worth that $15.
