2012 tsx remote car starter...
Does either compustar or viper make simple plug in system.
I want a 2 way remote. Not looking to take a bunch apart and cut lots of wires. I am very capable with car electronics and stereo's, but not sure i want to deal with it.
Seems i can get a compustar with the slice remote for like $519 installed.
Not sure how much just the parts cost and if it's worth the trouble. Looks like its $275 plus the blade $75..
So $350 to do myself....or
$519 to get installed?
But i hate others touching my cars!

I have not installed a remote starter in any of the chip-equipped cars like our TSX... I have installed a few on non-chipped cars and it's quite easy if you know what you're doing. I can guarantee you that there *will* be wire cutting and splicing! And with the transponder-keys, probably more. (and the main reason for not having installed one myself in my TSX)
There was a factory system available that did not involve cutting wires, but, if i remember correctly, you had to replace a harness or two... and it was about 900$.
