2011 Acura TSX I4 CBP

Hey Guys,

I actually just joined the forums but have "lurked" as i've been a fan of Acura for years. Well here we are in 2011 and i've finally took delivery of my first Acura.

Just an iPhone pic for now, I want to shoot some much better photos once the weather gets better around here.

Trying to figure out what I want to change/update but for now i'm having enough fun in the Navi and Owners manual. Especially since I came from a 01 Jetta this is like the space shuttle.

Thanks,
Matt

Congrats! I just picked up the exact same car on Sunday! One tip: Keep your eyes on the road and don't let all of the buttons distract you. Twice already I caught myself looking at something on the nav screen instead of the road! I guess if you're going to 'play' do it when you're parked. :P

Congrats and welcome! My husband's old car was a 2002 Jetta and you're absolutely right on the comparison. There really is no comparison b/w early 2000s models and the tech package overall. I came from a 2002 bmw 325xi and the first thing I said when I got into my TSX is that it was like a rocket ship compared to the BMW!!!

Thanks all. The tech does have the potential to cause distraction, just have to be aware of it. The only thing that "annoyed" me was the default unlocking sequence, but a quick read of the manual and all is good. I actually couldn't live without tinting it, so I made an appointment at 8:00 am. Getting it back soon, once its back in my hands i'll post more photos. Don't really have anything else planned, but we'll see.

Thanks,
Matt

@ed - Not to "call you out" but i've read a ton of your posts and wanted to personally thank you, you've indirectly answered a bunch of my questions.

That was "one" of the 2011 updates I really liked. The other was the updated Navi, it just works so damn well.

Thanks,
Matt
