18" wheel option

Hi all, I am thinking of purchasing the base model 6MT. Has anyone has experience with the 18" wheel (split 5 spok rim)option? Do they affect performance (accelaration, braking etc). Are the side walls shorter with the new tires? How much more weight (tire + rim)is it? How much did you pay for the rims including tires? Any info regarding performance impact will be appreciated.
I am from the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario.
Thanks!

I didn't know that there was an 18" wheel option. Do you have photos?

Go to acura.com, select TSX. Under exterior accessories you will find the wheel options.

I know when I was shopping around for 09 tsx's a lot of the cars came with those split 5 spoke wheels. the only problem was that they were wayyyyy over priced. they were about $3800 on top of the sticker so i found that to be a real ripoff. you can get the nicest aftermarket wheels with tires for that price

Yeah, they dont even look that good. I just checked on Acura's official eStore. The ones with the chrome look are $2603 uninstalled and the tires are $1033 on top of that. The gun-metal look is about 50 bucks cheaper. you can get a decent set of 18" ronjons with tires for under $2k for example

How much heavier does the new wheel set weigh over stock wheel set?
Does anyone have any feedback on performance? Do bigger wheels negatively impact acceleration, braking and handling?
Are those 18" tires all season or summer tires?
Thanks. Much appreciated.
