Wheel Fitment Question (With Pictures!!)

Hi all, recently bought a 2002 TL, and before any of you say it, yes I am planning on getting it running as best it can before doing any cosmetic mods.
Now onto the subject, I've been trying for a few days to try and figure out what wheels I should get later on down the line, and I settled on these Konig Control wheels. Cheap, look good, and seems like they'll fit.

The question for the masses, Will They Fit???

*Based on stock 16" wheels
As you can see, "height" wise they're identical, it's just the new wheels are obviously wider, but what I want to know is if that extra width will cause me trouble.
Thank you for your time!

Hi, OP! Your wheel specs are fine. I'm running 18x8, +45 ET Aspec wheels from the 3G TL and they fit fine. However, my fenders are rolled so I don't know if the results will be the same for you.

18x8, +45 ET Aspecs (scroll down)

Also OP, you can go lower

Kind of hard to miss since it is stickied, but ok. Thanks.

Good to know! I honestly just want the wheels to sit flush with the car body, or as close to it as possible (would these be enough?). I did plan on rolling my fenders just to avoid any complications. Also, how low can I go? This is my daily so I'd like to be low of course but not so much than I'm scraping on small bumps!

Yeah, you'll definitely sit flush with those wheel specs. The wheels will sit aligned with the fenders.

As for drop height, I believe I did 2" in the front and 1.75 in the back. I definitely lowered it more after that, but you can use that as a baseline reference and if you don't like the results, you can play it by ear and lower it more from there. I had to raise it after driving scraping around town for 3 months. Now it's at a comfortable ride height but still noticeably lowered compared to stock suspension.
