Wheel Fitment Question

Hi, I've got a 01 cl with stock 205-60r-16 rubber on it. I found a deal online for 215-65R-16 winter rubber. Does anyone know if the 215 will fit on my stock rim?

yeah, one size up won't be an issue, the sidewalls will look a little more puffed out and of course the sidewall height is higher. But no issues otherwise.

Do you want a true snow tire or just an all season? I notice you live in Ottawa, so you are probably leaning towards the snow. I just moved from Omaha, NE to Atlanta, GA and have used both in the snow. The all seasons save you money but won't grip as well in the snow....as far as snow tires, I've used the Yokahama Guardex and the Bridgestone Blizzak on the CL...and the Michelin Artic Alpine's on my BMW. Really all of them worked wonderfully, but the Blizzaks were my favorite.

However, if the snow isn't too deep, then the all season Yokohama Avids and such do just fine!

Yeah, I deffidently need winters. As it turns out the others I mentioned earlyer are too big. I think i'm gonna go with the Dunlop Graspic DS-1. Why? Cuz Walmart has them on right now for $96.96 a tire canadian for 205-55-16's, and you can't beat that price. I've heard that tire is a bit loud and has some tire wear issues but all in all its a good winter tire. Anyway, for under $400.00 for new winter tires thats the best price I know.
