lol all because it says that doesnt mean it cant be changed ? that center cap is removable and about the same size as the acura center cap

also explain waht you mean by to big? 18" is to big , or the spoke is to big ?

the tires are too big. it wont fit, you could make it fit but the tires will rub the inside of your wheel well. if you can get a smalller tire for the rims then it'll work.

i guess it doesnt look too bad. it's alright, if you could change the center cap on it

I have 245/45ZR18 Dunlop SP Sport 9000s on my CL and they fit fine. Albeit, I don't have my car lowered at all; the TEIN's are back at stock height.

What about the Offset? That's what you should really focus on.

there's no smart way to photochop that. its pretty straight forward that the spokes seem too big for a Tl (and horrible with the "nissan" on it, can that be "degadged"?)...but then, everybody disliked the 04 Tl rims on a second gen but in reality they look amazing with a slight drop.

Dont do it. No disrespect but those rims dont go with the style of a TL. There are too many wheels out there that look much better.

its an ugly vanish SUV...Nissan tried imitating the even uglier infinity FX suv

these car companies are making way too modern-looking cars. Mom's seem to like them though

Imitating the FX? 1) Infiniti/Nissan are the same company, so they are hardly imitating. Styline is similar yes, but quite distinct. 2) The Murano uses the FWD platform that the Altima, Maxima, and such share, with the FX series use the RWD platform from the 350z, G35.

I personally don't think they are that ugly, they have a lot of character...but I loved my X5 and a lot of people think the X5 is an ugly SUV.

An ugly SUV? Try the Hummer H2. Sheesh.

If you wanna take a $650 chance ... go for it. Ask the guy about the offset -- that's probably the most important thing. I run 18"x7.5" with a +45 offset Volk rims in the summer with 235/40/18 Toyo Proxies4 tires. So everything on those Murano tire/rim info you gave is OK on your 2nd gen TL ... just make sure the offset is high enough for the rims to clear your brake calipers. Higher is better on Hondas (for the most part). Now ... if you're gonna lower your car, the offset is even more important!

According to others on e-bay who are selling those same wheels (Nissan Murano wheels), they are 18 x 7.5 with a 38mm offset. These dimensions mean that the wheels will almost certainly rub on a 2nd generation (1999 - 2003) Acura TL.

dude? you'll spend $650 on some wheels, but don;'t want to spend more than 50 on brakes? BTW... they don't look to good ( i.e. don't do it). Am i an asshole for saying that?

ya...dont do that either...dont go much over $1000 rims /w rubber.

Try this page, its a place where most of my friends looked up their rims and from where i'm most likely to buy mine. Search by vehicle (it loads all 114.3*5 rims and then you decide offset, whith, etc)

you'll find some hot rims for 750shipped w/ z-rated rubber...not that you'll ever need Z rated but hey, they look cool.

nope, 245/45ZR18. I was living in Nebraska and blew two of my 225/40ZR18's. I had a set of 245/45ZR18s sitting in my shop that were supposed to go on a WRX, but he didn't want to do 18" wheels and gave me the tires if I got him new wheels and tires cheap (which wasn't too be bad a deal, considering SP Sport9000's are expensive, even at cost). I threw them on and they fit---actually filling the wheel gap pretty well. The only drawback is that I can't slam the car though, they rub if I twist the coilovers down.

Jeez, some of you guys are frugal, to say the least. As with most things, when it comes to rims, you almost always get what you pay for. Don't go much over $1,000 for rims w/rubber? Please. I wouldn't have gone that cheap on my old Mazda MX-6, let alone my TL. This is especially true if you are looking to go with +18" rims. If you go with cheap rims, they will generally be much heavier, and bend more easily.

As for the Murano rims, I don't think they'd look all that good on a TL, IMO. Also, if they are +38 offset, they won't fit anyway, as already suggested.
