Sway bars

Sway bars
So I've been trying to buy a set front and rear sway bars for my car. I found out that Eibach no longer makes or has the front bar. Is anyone selling one or know what else would work as good the the Eibach bars? Thanks

FWD cars are naturally set up to understeer from the factory.
When adding a larger diameter REAR SWAY BAR, you'll naturally make the car a little more tail happy. you can initiate a tail spin by what is called "Lift off oversteer". this is where you're about to hit a corner and you flick the steering wheel while lifting off the gas. the back end will rotate. This is fun!
But remember, the ultimate goal is to make the car balanced or have neutral handling. This is where a beefier FRONT SWAY BAR will come into play! to balance out the rear and make the car handle neutrally.
a neutral handling car will be safer to drive at the cornering limit, because the tire traction will be more predictable when it loses grip.
whereas when understeering, the front tires break traction first and the car doesnt carry into a turn and goes straight into a wall.
in an oversteer, the rear tires break traction first and can cause the car to fishtail.

On my Accord forum, one guy left everything 100% stock but had a 20mm RSB on the rear.
Needless to say it was all fun and games until he spun out and hit a gaurd rail with no real warnings to cool it like understeer or tire squeal. Just taking the corner and lost it.
OP, to upgrade the rear significantly the front must be done too. Go big or go into the guardrail.

I have my car set up to be tail happy. because it's more fun.
with a FWD, there are limitations tho... there are only certain corners and speeds that I am comfortable initiating a "lift-off Oversteer" condition.
it's not like a RWD vehicle, where you can lay into the gas around a u-turn to get tail happy.
I can only think of one situation where I use the lift-off oversteer....and that's entering my neighborhood from a busy highway... Speed limit is 50MPH and I take the corner at like 30-35MPH. it's a right turn, and I'm speeding up towards the corner and as soon as I hit the corner I lift up on the gas. Tires screech and my back end rotates around the curve.

not connecting the end links to the sway bar will make your car absolutely unstable in a low speed turn.
one of my first mods was the REAR SWAY BAR and it only HELPED the day-to-day driving experience. a thicker rear sway bar will absolutely tighten up the ride!!!

that sounds more like broken end links or forgot to connect the end links...

Thinking of getting the 17mm on my Accord to replace the stock 13 or 14mm, or whatever it is. Just want to trim some body roll and tighten it up a tiny bit. I feel confident I have enough grip with new Michelin tires.
The RDX is pretty tail happy on a stock suspension. Been in a few dicey situations because of it.

Can we just say a 2G TL, 3G TL, 6G Accord, 7G Accord and 1G TSX has parts that are somewhat interchangeable in the suspension.
This might be cool to watch.
