Some questions..
I would like to get some springs/wheels for my car ('00 TL-P). I have heard however that aftermarket springs+stock shocks = no no. Is this true? I don't want to spend a ton of money on this car, as I will probably go for a G3 TL or something in the summer. I just want to have a "sporty" look without ricing it. I am thinking about going with some ASA AR2 rims (18x7.5) and some nice performance summer tires (reccomendations?) I would like to also buy Eibach Pro-Kit Springs or H&R Sport Springs. What do you guys think?
I would like to get the ASA AR2s and Eibachs and be all set. Is this possible? Would it look rice? Opinionsss!

concerning the shocks, my stockers with comptech springs lasted until i changed them at around 72k miles. now the general consensus is that they won't last for very long. i could be the exception to the rule. who knows. the tokico blues are pretty close to stock but you will definitely know they are stiffer.

So would ASA AR2s (18x7.5)s look dropped too low with the eibachs? I know the drop is like 2.1 in the front. I don't want a riced out ugly looking car. I just want the gap from the tire and the body to be smaller (but not small enough that there isn't a space).

H&R sport will drop your car to have 2finger gap all around i think it look great !! eibach will be lower... its depend on what you whant.. it will work on stock shock but wouldnt last as long as with the stock spring and will maybe be bouncy.. if you whant to change your stock strut for something cheap go with tokiko or kyb .. if you whant to put more$ koni yellow.. take a look at the photograph gallery !

Hey, where are you in CT? If you want you can come down to my shop and we can talk about some options for you. I am in Branford (New Haven County). I can get you the wheels and suspension and install them for you.

I have an H&R sport drop with stock shocks. Like the others have said, the drop looks great! Not "rice" at all. 70k on the odometer, and so far so good. The ride is good and the handling is noticeably better than stock.

I was thinking about going with this package (and possibly the first set of tires). These are SUPER cheap and with the money I might do some other stuff to my car. Would these rims and the first tires look good with H&Rs or Eibachs?
