Angry shocks & springs

Can bad lowering springs wear out shocks ? i changed my stock springs & installed h&r lowering springs, i noticed my one of my front shocks was leakin so i knew one was bad, 3 months later all my shocks are bad !!! i feel like im in a lowrider hittin switches everywhere i go, theres not really any smooth streets or freeways around here !!! so you can imagine my ride fckn hopin !! i might as well get some daytonas & hydrolics >_<....
i ordered some kyb's & im not sure if i should get some springs too cuz i dont want the same thing happening again !!

Its not that they are bad springs. Aftermarket springs on OEM shocks pre-maturely wear out the shocks...They were probably on their way out anyway ,and the springs sped up the process..

Buy adjustable shocks, then you can custom tune the handling characteristic to your liking.

Your shocks were probably already weak and lowering springs only exacerbated the problem. Time to upgrade. I would recommend KONI Yellow shocks.

Get a quality shock if your on lowered springs it's worth it. I can't personally speak for Koni but I have run several sets of Bilstein sports and they have never let me down. Koni and Bilstein are considered to be on par with each other. Don't let a cheap price fool you you need a shock that is valved for a higher spring rate and less travel then OEM.

I can tell you from experience Excelerate Performance is great to work with! Call them up they will get you what you need and stand behind what they

Tokico HP (blues) are great shocks to pair the H&R Sports with. Excelerate offers great pricing on them - that's who I got my Tokicos from.
