shocks question!

i lowerred my 01 TL w/ comptech springs like a month ago paired w/ stock shocks. loved the look n the handling. but it started to get annoyin cuz it's so bumpy. im thinkin maybe if i change to sum aftermarket shocks...like those tokico thing....will it improve the ride quality compare w/ stock? cuz i really missed the comfy and quietness from stock springs w/ stock shocks...help please...?!?!?!

and also wen i go about 60 mph n above goin left on the freeway...there's sum hummin noise comin from the back wheel...very annoyin...no noise wen i go right, any idea why???!!!??

Stock shocks are not that good comparing to the aftermarket ones. Get Tokico and you will definitely notice a big difference; better ride, a lot more comfortable. For the humming noise, it could be the bearing.

Ok. How good are the Tokicos. I've read a lot of people singing the praises of the Koni Yellows, but I'm curious of the Tokico Blues.

Wheel bearing is a little wheel in which the journal turns upon loose hardened steel balls that roll easily in a race. It is what allows your wheel to turn in circle smoothly.

If you prefer stock quality ride or better, then Tokico is a good replacement. The blue HP or the better Tokico illumina will work. Koni is more expensive and is really for cornering and racing. It is a little rougher.

Tokico Illumina is adjustable, the HP Blue is not.

tokico blues all the way. i have them paired with my H&R springs. the springs are a little soft for my liking but i don't think i could find a better shock that's priced as competetively. comfortable ride, excellent recovery from bumps/dips/etc.
