Rubbing on full lock up

as stated, upon full lock up my tires rub pretty bad..to the point where there is black rubber dust outside of my fender. The tire rubs on the bottom of the fender, not the inside. Fender liners are cut out in the center. For those of you who are slammed to all hell, how do you deal with this? I cant imagine going any lower is possible, but I see that many of you guys are. Thanks. Wheels are 02 TYPE S wheels with 215/50s.

It's too dark outside at the moment but I can get one tomorrow. Bottom of the fender being the fender lip directly above the tire. When I turn the wheel all the way there is a 2mm gap, but when the suspension compresses the fender pretty much sits on the tire. The obvious answer would be raise the car, but I see so many people lower...like JDMInspire

when i was that low i rubbed right there ^ too. i was also smacking the control arms (which is embarrassing when passengers ask you if your car is broken) so i solved the problem by raising it up and getting new wheels/tires lol.

either raise it up, or go for a 225/40 tire (or similar).

Yup, I'd like to go with a 17x8 in the front with 225/45's at some point. I'm sure if I ran a 45 series and raised the car a couple mm It would be okay. What I can't understand is how the guys who are lower get around this. From what I understand a fender roll only pulls in the inner lip, or will it slightly flare the fender out as well?

I don't hit unless there is a big dip in the road and theres a heavy person in the front, I tightened my preloads as well. I rarely have passengers in the car but I don't like people looking at me when I pull in a parking space and my tires make a horrible noise. I like the ride height though...dammit. I'm so tired of adjusting these things,I'm pretty sure I've done it 7-8 times in a month or two.

yeah i remember i did the same. i had the car jacked up at least twice a week for like 3 weeks. but then i compromised and found a ride height that i actually liked, as well as physically worked. i didnt touch the ride height again until i got my A-spec wheels because the 235s rubbed like crazy in the rear so i had to raise it.

yup 225-40 tires should solve your problem.

or you could always just avoid performing U-Turns. haha

Stretch the fender a little giving it a slight pull and angle to it giving you more room

I cant see how you could even park with your car that low! Stock tires on those 16s are taller than mine, how do you do u turns or park without destroying your fender?
