To remove or not remove?

Hey guys,

A while back I got the Tien basics but I still have the uneven drop between the front and back; now I was wondering, if I were to remove the pillow top/rubber cushion from the front struts to try to get the springs even all the way around, would that be a good thing or bad thing? I haven't done it yet, so I figured I'd ask.

your sig says you have the h-techs and your post says you have basics...if you have basics, they are fully height adjustable and i don't see why you don't just change the height with the coilovers. i'm assuming you have H-techs, and to answer your question it would prob not be a good idea to remove the rubber cushion because you will have squeaks and noises most likely if you do that. the h-techs just come with an uneven drop for everyone. sorry to say, but you should have done more homework before you purchased.

Oh no, not basics, I meant to say H-techs. The thing is, for some people, the h-techs came out fine with an even drop, I just turned out to be one of the others with the uneven drop. I saw another AZ member's car the other day down here in Tampa and his was an even drop all the way around, same springs as mine. It's weird. Any other suggestions? Maybe going for the SS's in the front?
