OK?

I have them and I love them. I had them put on about 35,000 miles ago. Two plus years with my oem shocks, no problems. They give a nice look and are still nice and soft. NF = natrual feel.

How come there is a different drop between the 99-01 TL and the 02-03 TL? They are basically the same car.

Yeah and 1.3" F and only 0.5" R? Doesn't sound right.

That threw me off too when I was on there site, especially since the only car pictured is a 99-01TL. I have seen the drop on a TL-S though, so I know it looks good on 02-03 models.

After mine settled they were closer to 2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. Definately more than 0.5"

First of all what is official about this thread and what purpose does it serve? Second, where is the '03 love? I know they fit because I have them on my '03!

Although they are practically the same car, they are not identical. There are minor changes to the vehicle causing different data.

This is just a way to remind other members who do not have these springs that these are available for their car. It is possible that one could have purchased the vehicle and not known that they had this option available for their car. We have not tested the springs on a 2003 model so as manufacturer we cannot just assume that it fits. We must always be accurate on our claims.

just to confirm, these do fit on the 99-01 and 02-03. i understand that you guys might not have tested them in the 03, but trust me they fit. i'd be 100% about that.

are you guys offering any incentives for AZ members to buy from you guys? if not, this thread is pretty pointless.

I can understand some minor difference in the lowering amounts, but I was just surprised that the difference was a full inch in the rear between the two years. I'm not trying to argue with you, I was just surprised, especially because other spring manufacturers do not list different drop heights between the different years of 2nd Gen TL.

I 100% agree you cannot assume it fits without trying it... I bought a set for my '03 TL-S and put them on myself. According to YOU Mr. Tanabe, Tanabe does not claim fitment on an '03 but according to Tanabe's site it does via this chart right here: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs/sp...tions.asp?id=2

If you are in fact correct and you are connected with Tanabe and Tanabe did not test springs on an '03, I just lost a lot of respect for a them as a company even though they have a good product...

And I agree with LeeDan00, this thread is pointless.

The springs fit all 99-03 TL's. The drop in the rear will be slightly different though for 99-01 and 02-03. Acura made it heavier in the rear. All manufacturers though are disinclined to say it fits certain years unless they have personally tested it.

I still fail to see the point of this thread. Please post something interesting next time.

We definitely do not want you to feel that way. Just to be clear the website was updated on Thursday 2-28 and the thread was posted on the Monday before. We received confirmation that this fit on the 03 and product data was changed on the website during our price change. This thread is information to inform people about our product, we do not sell to the public.
