Hello All,
Does anyone have a 99 TL (pics please)with rims:
18x7.5
5x114.3
+45 offset
wrapped in 225/40/18
Without a drop?
I have the rims (tires on the way), but am a little reluctant to put them on if the car is going to look odd or like a 4X4. I can't afford the suspension just yet and it may not be until the Fall when I can afford it.
I understand that putting new shoes on does not necessarily change the "gap" nor will it "fill in" the wheel well. Just looking for some pics and or friendly advice and how you think it would look.
thx,
B

Just keep an eye on the black market section people are always selling springs cheap. It's up to you but I wouldnt put rims on without a drop , it looks horrible in my opinion. I always recommend dropping the car first and buying rims second.

I agree with Plat. Here are some examples of 2Gs with rims and no drop. Some of the cars pictured are 02s and 03s, but I included them just to give you an idea. BTW, I noticed you're local!!! Look out for the local meets in the AcuraZine Clubs and Meets Forum Originally Posted by CL Platano
