Not your regular offset Q

ok guys, I'm going for a pretty crazy wheel fitment

20x10... i think im going with 265/35R20... maybe 30 series, but I think i will go with the extra rubber for safety, its ok a bigger profile = lower perch on konis

anyways the main problem is that i need them to stick out of the fender by an inch.. im thinking approx +20, looks like about 25mm in an inch subtract that from 45? but the x10 part may cause complications

Dont worry, I have some mild flares lol

any help would be very much appreciated

if not its just gona look like a scraper...

n x10 on all 4s?

ull have to b all the way up on ur suspension(like a scraper) just to turn if ur rims can clear the suspension...

n kit it for sure!!!

uhh I have agressive wheels and I think this is a bit to much x10 with a +20's offset will definately be to much and with a 265 series tire you're going to rub like hell. Well lets see how much your fenders are flared.

and also liek the question above do you plan on doing this on all 4 wheels. If you're going to be that low I dont think you;ll be able to turn your wheel.

H&R Race springs, with Koni Yellows, i dont want it to be slammed, just so the fender is at the tires or rims
if not its just gona look like a scraper...
not sure what a scraper is..
n x10 on all 4s?
yea, I need some wide tires to put power down, and it would look weird with the rears smaller than the fronts i think, plus traction in the back will keep it put

the lower offset will push the rims away from the suspension no? the rims should be very close to stock diameter, for 20x7.5 the size is 225/30R20
so the rim width is enlarged 2.5" but the the tires are only 40mm wider, so on x10 265/30R20 should be smaller than stock, and 35 might be slightly larger
n kit it for sure!!!

well the flares are about an inch wide, i'll be cutting out the stock fender pretty much so its all free space in there

well i do have an extra inch or so to play with over stock. How wide of a wheel do you think can fit up front on a stock TL? I need wide tires for sure. the 265 is toned down, I would love to fit 3xx up there, but i think that may definitely be impossible lol
u crazy lewd, ha!
you know it! go big or go home lol

Thanks for the replies!

lol...thats what i was thinking...if u want to put power down...go wider...not bigger...stay at 18s...but wider...like 9.5 or 10 if u want...n get lighter rims like the enkei rpf1...those r light

on 20s ur rims will b traveling a longer distance...any1 with smaller rims will launch b4 u...then ull b playing catch up...n thats not what u want..

Lol come on guys, im not talking about putting down 300hp, im aiming for alot more

the 20s are not track wheels, just around town wheels... but even daily wheels need to look good, and be able to put down the power when i want

track rims are gonna be 18's or 17's and the 20's will have the same or very similar overall diameter as stock. only sacrifice will be rotational mass, and i wont get the stickiest tires.. so they wont be so noisy lol

but hey the car is a boat stock, has a 2000w stereo system... trust me 20s aint no thang lol especially with the power i plan to run.

oh and mr.chan i was thinking you have 9.5 in rear already. so to fit 10s shouldn't be too hard

but the front you have 8.5, do you think a 9 could fit? and do you think with my reasoning of being able to go out another inch i should be able to fit 10s?

remember look at it as if i have a fender thats an inch wider, not just addon flares

well yah I'm sure you can fit 10's but you said you wanted a low 20's offset so that makes everything different, right now i have low 40's offset on my 9.5 and theres like a 4mm poke with 0 camber in the rear. You should be able to fit 9's in the front easily if they're flared. But I dont know on the tires man, those are really wide tires and even with aflare I'm almost certain you'll rub or something.
