lowering

O.K. guys and gals, I have an 03 tl non S, I want to lower it. The trick is to get as close to stock ride as possible. I'm married and my wife will kill me if I screw with the ride quality. I know that there will be some change, if it's not that bad she may just cut me off for a couple of month's, I can live with that. I have stock tires, but will change those out after lowering. Money is no problem.

How low do you want to go?

If you want to "get as close to stock ride as possible", look into H&R OE Sport springs.

Or if you want coilovers, look into the Tein SS (Super Street) with the EDFC (Electronic Dampening Function Controller). You can of course adjust your ride height but also how stiff or soft you want the ride to be. PM or email board sponsor "Excelerate" for more info and pricing.

excelerate@sbcglobal.net

The Tein SS w/ EDFC will run you above $1000.

I was looking at the Eibach Pro-kit, is the ride quality with these better than the H&R sport

Tein H-Tech is what I'm on and barely noticed a ride diff. Its about the same as stock, very smooth.

I rode in a TL with the Tein Basics and the car was close to stock ride. It rode better than my car which has the Htechs

She wouldn't let you get the TL-S huh?

Ok, here is what I googled to help you out...

"03 tl non S" + "lower it" + "close to stock ride" + "wife will kill me" + "money is no problem" = air bags
