Ksport Install and Review

As some of you guys may remember, i was interested in buying a set of these Ksports Coilovers and giving it a try. Price was great - i got mines for a little over 600 and was way cheaper than my first choice of purchasing the acclaimed Tein SS. Well i've ridden on the coilovers for alittle over 2 weeks and right now, at this moment, I LOVE THEM! I have had a bad 2 weeks riding on my new coilovers as shinybluecls and pureadrenaline recall, but it was a "newbie" mistake that i committed in installing these coilovers. Looking back i was so dumb and the problem and issue has since then been resolved and i'm so happy with these coilovers. After today's readjustment, the ride is comfortable and great. If you were ever dropped on springs - eibach/hr - i would compare the ksport with the comfort of regular drop springs (remember progressive soft springs). It feels great! One important thing is i'm dropped really low, and the suspension bottoming out has not become an issue. The coilovers come with springs that are 13/7kg default. Stiff but rides great. When you first open the box and see it for yourself, you can tell the coilovers are quality made. I'll posting pics in the next few days, i'm eager to show you guys! Till then, if any of you are considering a full coilover set up and want something affordable/bang for the buck/that doesn't deter from performance - ksports is a great product. To shinybluecls and pureadrenaline thanks a lot for the help in the past few weeks, you guys are great for helping me out; i finally found out why haha.

the only thing i didn't like is the dampening adjustment aspect...you adjust it using a knob thing with no clicks to indicate the level of softness or hardness...instead u're left with a free spin and a guessing game...don't get me wrong, it works and u can feel the difference but it would've been nice if there were clicks and lines to indicate and know.

the knob has marks on it so you see what position you're starting from and what position you end up in. you repeat with the other 3 sides.

glad everything worked out for you man what was the issue with the install and what'd u do to fix it?

thats wierd no clicks on knob.. i have used both k sports and d2s on civic integras sentras.. all work awsome was wondering how they were on our bigger cars.. is the ride bumpy.. to stiff harsh.. hmm might consider this.. as i could pick up a set from local vendors for 500-600 like yo u said compared to tien SS...

At first they are really stiff, and maybe a little harsh, but after about 2 weeks they soften up a little, or break in. Def worth the money IMO
