KSport coilovers vs Eibach Lowering Kit

http://www.drivewire.com/performance...rtlinekit.html
Drivewire offers both a Sportline and ProKit . . . springs, shocks, sways for under $800 shipped.

Is it worth the money or should I just do the KSports for a little less?

My 02TLS has 80k on stock shocks, H&R springs, Random Tech sways.

My vote is for any coilover setup.

I would go with Ksport for the price and handling

KSports were a little under $700 while the Eibach Pro-System Plus was $800. I decided to go with Eibach. The KSports are FAR more versatile at the performance end compared to Eibach spring/shocks but I spend most of my time ferrying my kids to daycare and going to work so there's no real benefit. In essence, I get most of the performance I 'need' plus a new set of sways for $100.

Alternatively, Tein kits should be considered. Any reason you left them out?

Tein was my first choice b/c it was the only choice when I first started looking. Most people seemed to favor the Tein SS but commented that EDFC was more gadget than gear.

There seemed to be very little feedback on KSports or Nex so despite the cost advantage I was going to get Teins. Then I saw a ridiculous deal on Eibach gear at drivewire.com. My local shop came close to matching the price so I picked up shocks, springs. sways, and camber kits for the same price as Tein SS alone.

I'm a cheap b@stard so if Tein SS cost the same as group buy on KSports I would have bought the Teins months ago.

EDFC is both gadget and gear. It is a useless piece and a waste of money. Until of course you want to adjust the dampening on the sus (that IS why you'd spend the extra money on the SS over the Basic, right?). Being able adjust the dampening from the driver's seat while you are driving even can be really handy!

My only other advice is, don't buy something because of price. Find something you want, and then find the best deal. I have seen too many people compromise because of either a couple bucks or a few weeks wait only to go back and get the thing they originally wanted later.

Just my opinion.

The spring rate is 12 F and 6 R. However, you can get different spring rates. PM me for more details. I have a sale on them.
