Koni Yellow on Stock Springs

I've been running Koni Yellows (stock perch) with Comptech springs (aka Eibach)on my 2003 cls6. The front springs broke. I am most likely going to put some Eibach pro kit fronts back on; however, I do have my stock springs sitting in the garage after all these years and am tempted to put them on (all 4 corners of course!) and put the koni's on the lower perch to lower by 0.8". Has anyone done this with their 2nd gen TL and what has the ride been like and any pics? I do like the current handling (well before the springs broke), but wouldn't mind raising the car up a bit and saving some dough but giving up a little bit of time because I would have to change out the rears as well! It would make it easier when moving the kids in an out of the car and a little bit softer suspension.

no reason you couldnt. The drop would be much like the H&R OE. If you were to get new springs, i would recommend H&R sports over the eibach. They are a better spring and coupled with the Koni yellows (with both rebound and dampening adjusted right) the ride is near stock or better imho.

Laziness would be a reason that I would go with Eibach LOL. Then I would only need to change out the fronts! Too bad it's next to impossible to find just front or rear springs!

In terms of adjusting rebound, any hints on how to set it appropriately. I've looked up how to do it, just want to know how do you know that it's set correctly. I know that some of that would be subjective, but there may be some guidelines as how to make sure that the koni settings are too mismatched to the performance of the springs.
