Yeah, try rubber mallet. If you need a little more persuasion, thread the nut back on just the end and use a regular hammer. So you won't flare the bolt.

You should see what i had to go thru to get it out. I ended up having to cut it out, and get a new lower arm as it was seized to it.

Yep had to cut that thing out. Other side came out with two taps of the hammer.

I realize I am bringing this thread back a little but:

What side did you cut it on? Between the bushing and frame on the bolt head side? Did you order a new bolt / nut from acura?

I have cut these before on a 92 civic and also a 97 accord so I have done cut 4 of these. But I really want to avoid doing this.

Also I have a big box of Honda bolts - nuts from tearing down cars that I could use.

Really don't want to cut this out and have my car sitting for 2 weeks waiting on parts.

Thanks

Im not sure if you got this figured out or not, in the second pic i cut between the right side of the arm and the bracket. That nut is actually welded together so i had to order another from acura. only like 2 bucks if i can remember correctly. It was frozen inside the arm. Lubed it up really good so i wont have this problem again

You have to cut between the mount and the arm on both sides. The bolt seizes to control arm. You wont be able to reuse the arm. You will have to get a new one. Also its not a regular bolt. Its a cam bolt (the threaded part is offset from the head) You will have to get it from the dealer.

The kit comes with a new adj toe bar and also a new adj camber bar.

So if you already have just a camber bar not sure if its worth it.

But this set is def. easy to adjust on an alignment rack. Any time you adjust camber your toe goes off a little. You need to adjust both to get it set just right.

edit: just saw this was in 2g section. I am not sure how these are sold for this gen car. 3g comes with both toe and camber.

So you have the front upper camber kit?

This is covering the rear camber/toe kit.

Front toe is covered with the outer tie rod ends.

Rear toe sucks from the factory thats why I replaced mine with ingalls and also the addition of rear camber adjustment.

Hope that helps.

You can only get more camber from the camber bar. Changing the toe wont give you more camber.
