I would like to see more also with the H&R OE and the TEIN H-Tech's. Is the ride better with the OE's or the H-tech's. Just want a slight tad bit drop on the car. I don't want to worry about fitting the car on alignment racks, rain floods, etc.

This was mine on H&R Sports. Don't worry about the ride. It was fine. You won't have any alignment issues, you may need a camber kit though. I did.

At first I paid someone to install H-techs, and he was nice enough to let me watch him. I was very easy to do. After having them on the car for a couple of weeks I decided I didn't like the way they came out so I took it upon myself to order H&R Sports and find a DIY to do the install myself.
I was able to do it myself in about 3 hours. The camber kit took another 40 mins to install a week later after I tried to have it aligned and they told me they couldn't do it without me installing the camber kit. There is a great DIY on here somewhere. I used that and my memory when I watched the H-tech install. Just do a search and you will find it. I hope that helps! Good luck!

Why front only? then the car wont sit level and will be raked

I read some members said it was a good look. Just want to avoid the rear sagging perception. Some mentioned they have this setup, maybe Inspire could post some pics?
But snowman81s' ride looks great, on OEs. I wonder if he has any added weight and if the car is still sitting level like in the pics he posted in this thread.
BTW, anything you can do to retrive my PMs? I have been locked out of them due to being a new member and not enough posts?
Thanks

I never would of thought to put just OE springs on the front (where the major problem gap is). For those who did that, don't you have some weird handling by having mixed spring rates between front and rear? Just curious. I have HR Sports all around and love the ride and the near zero fender gap now. It's stiffer than stock, no question, but on highways it rides great. City street joints and stuff like that, you know you are on a lowered suspension...as far as fender gap, I compare my fender gap to that of a BMW M3 or 330ci. There is barely two fingers width between tire and fender. When I slap my 19's on there, it's gonna look perfect I think.

I with fsttyms1, I'd rather have a level or slightly raked car, but keeping stock springs on one end and performance springs on the other may not be a good choice in my opinion. I think the car's handling would be way off and weight wouldn't be distributed properly, especially on take offs. The good part about having performance springs is cornering, less nose dive while braking and less ass sag when stompin on the gas

Cool, I guess OE would not be as drastic as the sports. I know my HR Sport drop has settled down to slightly more than 1.5". I've had them for almost 3 years now and they have certainly dropped way down further.
Glad that setup works for you, that's a pretty good idea I suppose if it's working out!!

Thanks for all the inputs. I think I will just go with a complete set of OE's. Would still like to hear about and see some pics of Inspire's TL.
Are there any more pics of TLs on H&R OEs out there?????????
Please post them!
thanks

I just installed H&R Springs with stock shocks on my 03 TLS. I am loving it! The ride is almost like stock. Plus, I only paid $50 for installation (what a hook up price). The drop is approximately two fingers gap front and rear.
