I just picked up a set of Acura A-Spec wheels in the gunmetal finish 18x8. I know that they will bolt up to my 03 TL-S. But with them being 18x8 will they stick out alot? Would I need to play with camber, spacers or anything like that? Any help would be great. Thanks guys!

Looking at a set of 18x8 with 46 offset for my 2000 TL, no drop yet but planning on H&R OE sport springs (0.75" ft, 0.5" rr) Anybody have this type of setup? Any pics?

I'm new to the forum and have a 2002 TL. I'm currently shopping for wheels FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. If I lower my car 1.5'front/1.75back', what size wheel and tire would keep my car from rubbing with lots of weight? I pack a lot of video gear often and it weighs my car down by 200-300 lbs at times, all in the back seat and trunk. Please help!

I want this suspension:
http://www.raceinspired.com/p-18932-...iliateid=10065

and these wheels:

I mean 1.75 in front and 1.5 in back...or would using Tien Basics be a better bet? I would like the ability to raise/lower my car at will...

I just currently purchased some 18' MSR rims.. they came with 215/40/18 tires on them but I'm not sure if they are right for my 2000 tl and trying to find that size is hell. The rim dimensions are 18x8 +42 offset I believe.. What size tires should I purchase?? without it rubbing..

You know what pisses me off...how an 18x8 +22 wont fit with 225/40 w/ 3.5 degrees of negative camber.I cut everylast mm of the bumper and it still wont fit...looks like I gotta go with the 215/40 :/

here is a thread which shows a 19x8 +40 offset with a 1.5 inch drop. no fender rolling, no cut tabs....just a mild shaving of the inner fender edge. for all those who say it won't work!!

I'm going to see a new TenZo Type M wheel. I asked the sales guy for the offset for my 03 TL and he said it called for +37 I told him it would stick out quite a bit.
Shouldn't the 2nd gen be +45 or higher?

That is the size I currently have on my 03 TL. They fit very well. Those Racing Harts are very nice, good luck with them.

17x9 +27 on 215/45/17.

Already have tabs cut and fenders rolled. I'm dropped on "2.2 all around natural camber. How much more camber?

Has anyone seen the RonJon RevGT-M? http://www.ronjonwheels.com/ronjonim...e/rev_gt-m.jpg

I wrote to see if they have a higher offset then +32 in the red and they wrote back saying they would fit a 2G TLS just fine????

This can't be right, any input anyone? They should be sticking out by 2+ inches I would imagine.

guys, I need some help. I mentioned this earlier on this page but thought I'd bump it cuz no one has replied.

I have to carry between 100-300 lbs in the back seat and trunk of my 02 TLS. I want to lower it 1.5 inches in back, but need to know how many headaches I'll run into when I have to carry that weight (ie rubbing). I only carry the weight about once a month for a full day. Thanks in advance! New to the forum.

Wont have any issues if you are on stock wheels or the correct offset rims. I carry more than that and im a little lower with 235/40/18, soon to be 255/35. So far the only thing i have done is trim the tabs.

Thinking of putting my 19s back on. I'm lowered on F2 with minor tuck. Currently have

225/40/18 7.5 width +42

with no fender mod or rubbing (..well, in the rear at least no rubbing lol)

I want to put

225/35/19 7.5 width +47 (or +48.. I forgot..)

Should I be fine? I seem to rub my fronts when I'm doing tight turns, but that seems to be the norm with dumped cars so I'm not too worried about that haha

Thanks

will i have to trim my tabs for this size to not rub on my 03 tl-s?
or fender rolling required?

19x8.5
offset = +40

i plan on getting h&r springs and koni shocks in the future, so the car will be lower later on!
let me know, thanks!
