What would get me flush/poking? But not crazy.
(I have adjustable coilovers)
17x8.0 / 5x114.3 / +35
I'm thinking this one is the safest
17x8.0 / 5x114.3 / +45
17x8.5 / 5x114.3 / +30
17x8.5 / 5x114.3 / +40
17x9.0 / 5x114.3 / +35
17x9.0 / 5x114.3 / +45

i read on a thread sumwhere that you can put a tire size or 2 up onto rims recommended for a certain size. some guy did it with his stock TL rims and they worked. i was lookin at doin the same for asa ar2's. theyre 18" with offset of 48. recommended tire size is 225/45-18. could i put a 235 or 245 tire on there and have it work and not fall off or have sum crazy shit happen?

the ride is smooth but i think the tires are big and its not so good at turning.. wut i mean by big is that there wide..and stick out a lil ..i think i should try something 215 50 17 or 215 65 17?

...i dunno if that was a type-o but 65 is gonna throw ur speedo off and HIGHLY NOT recommended...u could go with 225/50/17...my TSX wheels are 7" wide and im runnin 215/50/17...

my rims are 17" (04 acura tl rims) i have 235 45 17 tires..its messin with my gas mileage also..a friend of mine said they were too wide for the car..but wouldnt 225 50 17 wouldnt make a big diffrence? i mean cuz the original tires on the car should be 205 55 16? and on the type S it should be 215 50 17..i have the regular 3.2 tl and i think there isnt much diffrence between the type S and the regular..but anywayz on a 17 inch rims what would be like the perfect tire size dats good with handling and gives good gas mileage? cuz i rather have the 04 rims than the 03

17x8 +45mm offset will they fit?
currently i have 17" tsx rims with 215-50-17 tires almost brand new but i found out one rim is bent. So im looking for replacement rims. I found some 17x8 rims with a +45 offset. I was just wondering how they would go with the 215-50-17 tires, seeing they are 8" wide, have a +45 offset. My car is stock height. and im just worried about the 45 offset if they will stick out or not thanks

Hi I was looking through the thread and I was wondering if this rim would fit? And what tire size would I need to make this work out? I have an 03 Acura TL Type S and I plan on lowering my car with Tein S-Tech springs, about 2 inches in the front and 1.7 inches in the rear. I will roll and trim my tabs, but is there anything else I need to do?
Size 19x8.5
Offset 45mm
Lip Size 2.5"
Hub bore size 73.1 mm
BTW: Thank you to all who have contributed and will answer my question!

Hey guys, this is my first post, but im a long time reader. I just got 18"x7.5 Enkei rims w/45 offset & 235x45x18 Eagle F1's on my 03 TLS. From what I've read this shouldn't rub, w/ stock suspension. But by car rubs in the rear during quick dips on hwyways and hard cornering. It doesn't seem to touch the tabs. It does touch the top part of fender where its folded into the wheel well. I've searched the forum but couldnt find a fix besides cutting tabs. Also it touches the inside corner of the bumper, but thats an easy cut, its the fender im worried about. What are my options?

Did a search on the net and found info on fender rolling. FYI, emay has the origional Eastwood fender rolller NEW for $219.00 + $15.95 S&H, not bad thinking of buying one myself. Having it rolled at a shop will probably cost me about the same.

I also found a link that might be usefull for rolling fenders. This person used a bat to roll his fender! It seemed to work for him, well.

no don't pm me..
i'm aalready busy from people asking me if i'm gonna sell my saber or not..
and other people asking me to get them inspire/saber grills.. -_-;;
"18x9.5 offset 45 theres also 18x9 offset 35 or 8.5 40"
9 is possible..
my rear is 18x9 +37??? it sticks out about.... 1/4inch?? right now, its pretty flush with some amounts of neg.. but you can.. 18x9 +35 with some stretch on the tires..
18x8.5 +40 would be FLUSH!! 19x8.5 +46 were my GT-V and those were a little weak for me..
18x9.5 +45 will probably be flush too..
for all of those, most work is roll the rears and front.. probably cut tabs too.
