axis weels

ok guys, I got a very good deal on some axis supermesh wheels, 300 bucks to be exact. The rims are 19x8.5 and i think the offset is 40 not sure though. Anyways, I have a 1999 3.2TL so is there any way these wheels will fit my car without sticking out the fender? Can I have some suggestions as to making them fit without the option of buying a new car.....

8.5" rim with +40 offset on a 2nd gen TL?

... unless you're going to go with terrible camber ("tucked in") otherwise you're going to rub like mad.

The wheel is too thick, the tires are going to be way too thick and the offset is not high enough. Save up for a set that does not go past 7.5 or has a offset of 48 or more.

Tein SS as far down as it can go....... thats a pretty good deal.... i would stick with 18's myself though.....
