adjustable shocks

well as the title states, im looking into adjustable shocks for my HR race springs, the reason im going adjustable, is so that i can bump the stiffness up when tracking and soften the ride for everyday driving.. work is hard enough on my back as it is

now from reading on the boards there are 2 adjustable shocks for the TL:

Koni Yellows and Tokico Illuminas

i just want to know from personal experiences whether these shocks are reliable, how you liked the adjustability (was it user-friendly) and how good is the shock as a shock lol

now I want to get the Konis, i like the adjustable perch, but if they are too much and i can get the tokicos cheaper then ill go with the tokicos.. if they are good of course, otherwise i;ll just save for the konis

any help would be appreciated

Thanks...

edit: oops.. wrong forum

well i would do a search first off. This has been answered and you will find that they are reliable.

2nd the konis are going to cost more but they are a far better shock. (amongst the best made along with the bilstien)

And honestly, its not like turning a knob for race and street. You dont just turn them to make them stiffer and you will all of a sudden handle better. There is alot of playing with settings to get them to where they suit you and your driving habbits.

Yeah go for the Koni's you'll be happy. Maybe after running those for a min you'll probably decide to go for the Teins(a much better choice)

If you want that instant adjust on the stiffness, go with TEIN and the EDFC controller that mounts a little electric motor on the adjuster of each shock.
3 presets you can set the front and rears to any way you want- touch a button- motors turn, all from your seat

If you track day look at CG Lock $50 on the web- locks lapbelt racer tight!

yea i know what u mean, i dont mean just turn it up and race and turn it down and cruise, i was thinking more like you find what settings are best for cruising and then when track day comes along you can play with it to find the best setting for driving style and track, im positive that the track setting would be stiffer than the comfy settings...

i wish i could get the Teins with EDFC but i really dont have the $$$ for it, i got a set of HR race springs and now looking for the right shock to match

thanks
