Accord lowering springs on TL?

Anyone know if 2002 Honda Accord lowering springs will fit a 2gen Type-S? I was told it will fit but ruin suspension and give uneven rub on tires? And if they fit what should I look at to make sure they are kosher and not garbage?

They're pretty much the same car so it should work. Look the springs up on the manufacturer website for both cars and see if they're the same part number. As for ruining the suspension, it really depends on the drop. A slight drop won't really affect much but an aggressive drop will cause camber wear on your tires.

Accord suspensions will fit the 2G TLs. The only reason they make the TL lower is because the TL is heavier than an accord thus the more drop using suspension built for a LIGHTER car.

You shouldn't rub. Typically you'd have to go lower than 2.5 inches to start rubbing.

You haven't even mentioned the brand and you're worried about the color? Give me a break man, as fsttyms1 said it doesn't matter what color they are. Nothing wrong with a little contrast depending on the color of your car. Make sure you're picking up some quality springs, color doesn't matter, quality does.
