03 TL, the wipers won't retract. they used to, but now every time i use them and then turn them off they stay up about a foot above where they are supposed to go. i tried taking the wipers off and then putting them back on, but nothing.

the motor works fine..it just seems that it needs to be calibrated..if thats even possible

any ideas?

are the arms stripped out (like were they forced up or down or frozen to the windshield at some point)?

 

i'm sure they were frozen to the windshield at some point, but the wipers weren't turned on until all the ice was removed

the arms look fine
