Windshield Wiper problem

I have a strange issue with the wipers. Sometimes the driver's side wiper travels too far and pops off the windshield. Then it will get stuck there until I open the window and push it back.

This really sucked when I was driving in some insane torrential Florida rain and I completely lost visibility for a couple seconds every time it happened....

Anyone know if theres a way to adjust the wiper mechanism? Or does it need to be replaced?

Thanks

You have broken linkage bushings in your wiper linkages. You need to take the arms and cowl off and take the entire assembly out. Get the two new linkages and replace them.
