ok here is my problem the timing belt tensioner went bad i changed for new lined up all marks on timing belt put back together try to start battery was dead charged battery attempt to start cranks but no start rechecked timing marks still on the line ok so now i check the back far left cylinder to see if it was at top it wasnt loosend belt moved crank to line one revelution put every thing on line again tryed to start nothing cranks no start im not sure if back for left cylinder is number one

And the crankshaft timing could be 180 off.

Is the 123 in the front because when i turn crank to #1 TDC it does not line up with mark they have for referance

your positive that the timing is right?

How do you know that the #1 cyl is at TDC?

just to let everone know if you set timing wrong you can damage head learn from experience

As posted in other threads. Did you damage your head?

That is why its critical to make sure you get teh crank pulley to TDC AND that the front cam mark lines up TDT in the little window. . The rear cam likes to rotate about 1/4 turn off if touched so its important to go over all your work a few times to make sure all 3 marks are aligned.
