When I press the gas pedal it seems it gets stuck and most of the time I have to press it harder and the car pulls hard.So only in first gear(I have an automatic trans). When its driving the pedal softens.Does anyone know what the problem is or what I can do to fix?Is it normal cuz not even my old crx does this.

 

No its not normal. Everyone on the 2nd-gen side has automatics other than a handful which is custom.

It has nothing to do with which gear you are in, the throttle plate is purely mechanical and is only connected to the pedal and cruise control, nothing else. You could have buildup in the throttle body or something which can make your throttle plate stick. Also you could have some issue with the pedal itself or the cable being worn through and catching something. Just take a look at those things. Also check the spring on the TB.
