Water Valve

Any body here has ever encounted a bad water valve. It is the regulator looking thing by the firewall, with a little hose going to the firewall, and and larger one that goes to the motor.

I changed the hoses and i think i bent the wire that is on the top.

when i started it the gauge went to normal running level and the heat was cold.
then when it started to warm up, the gauge went all the up to hot.

no i am waiting on dealer to get it, 31 dollars and 2 headaches later.

please let me know if any body ran into this problem before.

i was tryin to get a write up on it, but no luck.

Thank You,
Ryon

that shouldnt cause your gauge/motor to heat up like that. thats simply for the heater core to regulate the warm water to it to help regulate air temp in the cabin. Make sure your coolant is topped off and that you dont have air in the system
