Vtec making a weird noise.

Ok when I acclerate really fast and the enjoy approached 4500 rpm the engine/vtec sounds like its about to blow up? Anyone else notice this. I wish I could record the sound.

what do you mean by blow up? did it get louder? do you have a intake?

blow up? please describe the sound in detail. was it a knocking or rattling sound?
