I have an Acura TL 2002 and the trunk release on the driver side door does not work. I have checked the valet switch in the glove box and is in the on position. I have checked fuse #12 on the passenger side as suggested in other posts and it is good. I do not hear the switch at all when I push the button on the side of the door or when I push the release on the remote. I guess it is the solenoid, actuator, switch (or whatever it is called). First, just want to check with some of experts on the forum if they agree or if so what is the part called that I need to replace.
