TREMBLING!!! After Innovative mounts and lightweight pulley
I just had the mechanic install the "innovative mounts" and a lightweight pulley and i can feel everything shaking!!!!!

If i would've known the innovative mounts would make my car feel like this i would have never bought them! I bought them cause my front and side mount were torn, so I figured why not get innovative...
And as for the pulley... i've read in the past that after installing you have to reset something? The ecu or something to reset the idling? I'll search the forum for it but if anyone can tell me what it is that I have to do plz let me know. Or any tips to lighten up the idling.

Dont know how to edit my previous post but I found this thread... I'll try the troubleshooting steps and i'll post any findings...
Can it be that my tranny is failing?

You're gonna get some vibration because they are SOLID mounts. They are designed to minimize engine movement much more effectively compared with the stock mounts. They are a lot stiffer so the engine vibrations travel through the mounts and the chassis making their way up to you.
I'm reading the entire thread now...
this is a luxury car! I got the lowest bushing resistance 60a thought that would be good for the every day driver...
Looks like the rear mount seems to be the problem...my rear mount is in good condition still... if i would've read this thread before i would've left the rear mount in... especially since it was a b!tch to install...

^^that would be cool but my side is blow as well...
My rear mount was the only one that was in good condition... I'll have it reinstalled 2morrow or monday and see if i can live w/ those vibrations...
Hopefully I'll be good to go w/ the OEM rear installed

To reset the ECU, pull the CLOCK fuse #13, on the passenger footwell or side of dash.
Thats the secret backup power to the ECU and will force a reboot/relearn
like your home computer getting shut off with the power switch.
Yes you can remove the battery neg cable at the battery to force a reset too- but that makes you input the security code for the radio,,,not everyone knows theirs, or they are lazy like me~
If you had a shop do the work- have them check the torque is 181 ft lbs on the pulley bolt and all the motor mount bolts are tight.
Things may not be as bad as you believe- if a mount is still broken and the others were replaced- there may be a lot of motion

Yeah as mentioned above, the innovative mounts don't absord as much vibrations as the oem ones.
I can also attest to the fact that using window weld to fill your OEM mounts will also cause a little vibration.

I was babied since I came from an integra to a 03 TL 27k miles which I barely felt the engine. I'll give the mounts 1 month to see if they break in, if not I'll sell and get OEMS... even though they'll only last about 40k miles
Thanks... I'll reset the ECU by pulling the fuse. Reason being is that for some GOD DAME REASON every time for whatever reason i have to input the radio code... I HAVE TO PULL THE ANTENNA FROM THE BACK!
Why is that?
